The Bridge St. Trio w/Kathleen Walters - Potter's Lounge
It's an honor to welcome back "Lansing's own Queen of the Blues" to the Potter's Lounge stage. Kathleen has been captivating audiences in and around Lansing, MI since the formation of her first band, Blues Xpress, in the late 90's. Later, as featured vocalist for Frog & the Beeftones, Kathleen opened for national bands including Mark Hummel, and Rod Piazza and The Mighty Flyers. A short time later, Kathleen formed her own band (Kathleen & the Blues Junkies), and began writing music for the bands first CD, 'No Way to Live.' Kathleen has shared the stage with national blues artist Larry McCray, Memphis mainstay The Daddy Mack Blues Band, and San Francisco's Tommy Castro Band.
She now graces the stage with The Bridge St Band, which includes Tim Brouhard (Out of Favor Boys) on bass and harmonica, Doug Fritch on guitar, and Eric Payne on drums. Together, they have performed at countless venues, concert series, and festivals throughout the mid-Michigan area. Performing a high-energy mix of soul, blues, & R&B - this trio will dazzle you from beginning to end! Don't miss an unforgettable night of music with Kathleen and friends.
